The Rhythmic Arts Dance & Music Center also known as DANCING SHIVA opened its doors in 2004 with only a handful of very near and dear students! In its 20th year now, we have grown in numbers but have not lost our standards of teaching. We are proud to teach quality dance, without copying any other choreographer in Bollywood or Hollywood. All our pieces are unique to our own teachers and that’s what we teach our students. Nobody likes a copycat!
Our classes are separated based on age, level, style and sometimes even gender to give each dancer the utmost attention to make sure their dance is perfected. Girls & Boys may be combined for certain performances but typically learn separate of each other. Their anatomies are different so their bodies move differently, its simple science!
Studio Director, Jeanie Beri, knows each and every childs name that walks through her doors even if they aren’t in her classes. Rhythmic Arts is a growing, healthy & extremely happy family that we welcome you to join! You will see by the many studio outings we do with our students, with the personal connections made with the parents and most importantly the constant team building exercises we do in class.
Come and take a TRIAL class and see for yourself why RADMC is a leader in the dance community! You’ve tried the rest now DANCE with the BEST!
Don’t believe us, see what our students have to say:
“I like that Ms Jeanie does the steps slowly one by one. And then she puts it together and repeats them again until it becomes a full dance.
I enjoy dancing here and also i get to make new friends!”
– Sachi 7yrs old (student of 2yrs)
“Our 7 year old has been Bollywood dancing with RADMC for over two years now and we couldn’t be happier. The teachers are friendly and provide engaging choreography that keeps kids interested. Even during times of Covid, RADMC was able to accommodate to still safely teach and have recitals in some capacity. We have already recommended RADMC to a number of friends and will continue to do so! Our daughter is excited to continue her dancing career with RADMC!”

“We are proud to be a part of RADMC family for 5+ years. Jeanie is a versatile dancer and loving teacher! Both my kids love learning Bollywood, Bhangra, Hiphop and many more dance forms here with amazing teachers like Jeanie & Neal. This is the only south Asian dance school in NJ who participate and leaves remarkable prints in Hip hop competitions. Jeanie is a super woman and my Kids love her!”
– Hiral S.
“The experience at Rhythmic Arts dance studio isn’t just about dance… its about discipline, commitment, confidence and most importantly it’s about friendship. Ms. Jeanie’s dedication and talent to the studio is remarkable. These dancers become a family. Our kids have been with this school and Ms Jeanie for 10+ years. We are looking forward to start another great year with new dance steps and lot of excitement.”
– Jyoti L.
“My daughter has been part of the Rhythmic arts center for 5 years. She started with Jeannie when she was 5. Given my daughter is very shy, I was looking for a school that would embrace and work with her personality. I didn’t have to look further, a friend recommended Jennie and sure enough I wasn’t surprised by the way my daughter felt so comfortable with Jeannie. Jeannie is an amazing teacher, she cares for kids as if they are her own and that quality of her makes her attract kids like my daughter. If asked, my daughter doesn’t want to go to any other school. Very blessed to have this school in our life.”
– Ami P.
“Rhythmic Arts is one of the best dance schools, offering various dance forms. They have a variety of great choreographers who work very well with each student. My daughter has been coming here for six years and had the opportunity to compete in so many competitions. We are very happy with the studio and the teachers!”
– Deepa S.
“RADMC and Jeanie are just incredible.
My daughter started Bollywood in the West Windsor class last year and she absolutely loves it. The music, the quality of instruction, and the love for the children is palpable.
What made me a lifelong RADMC parent and supporter was the annual dance recital where I experienced first-hand the heart and pure love “Miss Jeanie” puts into the school and each of her students. It was remarkable how many students stayed committed to her and the school for years and decades. Her contribution to our community and all of the students is such an inspiration! Needless to say, we love and highly recommend RADMC in every way.”
